Jesus said, "On this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it" (Matthew 16:18b).

And yet when many go to local churches, sometimes they wonder what happened to the church. Where is the promise that Christ made? They don't see many blessings. Perhaps the number is too small. People do not seem interested in going to church. And even for those who go, the church is not even a big part of their lives. So why bother going to church at all? For the most part, this is due to a poor understanding on the doctrine of the church.

We must remember that the Bible also teaches that nothing is too hard for the sovereign Lord who reigns over all. We must also understand that the Church is the Body of Christ, and that Christ is her head.

Jesus did make that promise nearly two thousand years ago. He is now working on keeping that promise. He WILL build His church. Will you be a part of His church? Come and learn what the Bible says about His church!
