How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace,
who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God
reigns!" (Isaiah 52:7)
Beautiful feet? It is not because the feet themselves are beautiful, but because the words spoken or signed by the speaker are beautiful.
Not many Christians realize that Romans 10:15 is a direct quote of Isaiah 52:7. Romans 10:15 says, "And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: 'How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!'" Preaching the gospel is connected to the sovereignty of God.
God saves people through the preaching of the word of God. God must be at work. When God saves someone, He shows that He reigns. By changing the desires of the heart from sin to holiness, from Satan to Christ, and from darkness to light, He shows that He reigns! By giving the name of 'JESUS' to His son, He again says that He is the One who saves.
That is why we are celebrating the Reformed Faith. We believe that God reigns over all things, including salvation.
So it is with great honor and humble joy that we present the 15th annual Sovereign Grace Deaf Conference. We will have the largest number of Deaf speakers ever in the history of Sovereign Grace Deaf Conference.
